For the purposes of GDPR, the data controller for jsondrift.com is the operator of JSON Drift. Contact: saifurrahmanshochib@gmail.com.

What we process

  • JSON/tool input: Not transmitted to us; processed locally in your browser (not personal data collected by us).
  • Analytics data: Pseudonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics (e.g. page views, coarse location, device category).
  • Server logs: IP address and technical metadata from hosting infrastructure, retained for security for a limited period.

Legal bases

  • Legitimate interests: Operating, securing, and improving the website (analytics, abuse prevention).
  • Consent: Where required for non-essential cookies; you may withdraw consent via browser controls or cookie settings.

International transfers

Analytics and hosting providers may process data outside the EEA. Where applicable, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or provider compliance programs.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability regarding personal data we hold about you.

  • Request access or deletion: email saifurrahmanshochib@gmail.com with “GDPR request”.
  • Object to analytics: use browser Do Not Track, block cookies, or analytics opt-out tools.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe processing violates applicable law.

Retention

Analytics data retention follows Google Analytics settings. Server logs are kept only as long as necessary for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated.
