JSON Drift is designed so your JSON content stays on your device. We do not operate a backend that receives, stores, or processes the JSON you paste into our tools.

Information we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store the JSON, text, or files you enter into JsonDrift tools. Processing happens locally in your browser unless you explicitly export or download results yourself.
Information we may collect
- Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate geography, device type, referral source). Analytics data is processed by Google according to their policies.
- Technical logs: Our hosting provider may automatically log standard web server data (IP address, user agent, request time) for security and reliability.
- Local storage: Tools may use sessionStorage or localStorage in your browser to persist editor state across refreshes. This data never leaves your device.
How we use information
Analytics and logs are used to improve site performance, understand which tools are popular, and detect abuse. We do not sell personal information.
